It is true! After almost two and a half years of prayers, tears, doctors, and tests.... We're expecting!
OUR STORY
We have been trying to conceive for almost 2 1/2 years without success (until now!). We had been seeing a fertility specialist in Des Moines and were told we would most likely need to do IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) in order to achieve pregnancy. We had been thinking about having the procedure completed and had even scheduled a date.
We were debating one night that maybe should we wait... maybe it wasn't time for IUI yet, maybe we needed to continue to wait on God. So we cancelled. I was sure this month was a bust, just like all the others. I had even texted my best friend to tell her so :-) But...
God is faithful and decided to answer our prayers at a time we knew it could only be Him, because 12 short days later I saw a second line.
I had been planning for over two years just exactly how I would tell Jake we were expecting, but I was so surprised I ran out of the bathroom screaming... no holding back the excitement this time :-)
Please continue to pray that our little "orange seed" continues to grow into a healthy baby.
He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.
